The New Test
More details about the New Test on www.direct.gov.uk DSA introduced a new motorcycle test from 30 March 2009 to comply with European legislation.
The new test contains two elements. The totally new part contains higher speed manoeuvrability exercises compared to your CBT, and will be performed on safe off-road sites and take about 10 minutes to complete. The accompanied on road element of the test will follow, consisting of a road ride covering a variety of road and traffic conditions and will also include normal stops, hill and angle starts.
